One month after airing the news of the possibility of drying of pir-e_Sabz' cypress, Mobedyar Shabahram Belivani published the final news on the dried tree. "Finalized studies show signs of total decay in the tree roots which has led to the dry of the symbol of Pir_e_Sabz" Belivani, the head of Sharifabad association declared. He is the one in charge of the pir. Belivani pinpointed the planting of two cypress saplings under the experts' supervision beside the dried cypress."The tree had been planted where there had been a rock, underneath and the roots has been extended into the ground which has wondered the expert how the growth could have been kept on." he added. The reasons have been developed: one is the rebuilding of MazraKalantar 's room and the other one is the flooding irrigation method. In this regard a few months ago ,some measures were offered to be taken in order to prevent the drying of the tree:One is locating some guardians in order to prevent the tree from breaking.The other is retreating of MazraeKalantar wall_ the wall which has been rebuilt without any coordinatingwith the rebuildingcommittee of pantheons,remove the garbage from the tree environs, extending its space and revising the method of irrigation prescribed by Plant Protection Organization of Yazd. Unfortunately what's clear obvious in the following photos implies the complete dry of the tree which could live for years.             Views: 139
