The documentary film "Chak Chak" went on screen for the first time on 22nd of Ordibehesht (May 12th) during the "Raster" gathering.

Production of the film had started from the beginning days of year 1389 and its final editing was done by the end of last year.

Before screening the documentary, its director Mr. Soroush Ghandi Parsi shared a few memories about how the idea of making it was formed. He also cherished the memory of our lost beloved friend Mr. Ramin Shohrat as one of the initiators and involved members in production of the film. He added that the production was continued by the help of Zoroastrian Organizations and with the little facilities in hand. The director also mentioned that this was supposed to be a narrative documentary initially but after the loss of our beloved friend Behnaz Mavandadi, the process was changed.

After Mr. Ghandi Parsi's speech, it was the turn for the film itself which was screened in Mahyar Ardeshir Ghasemabad's hall filled with people. This was a 40 minute long documentary starting from Gathapooyan house in which a group of members hold the traditional ceremonies of Zoroastrians and read and learn Zarathustra's Gatha. In the following this group sets out for "Pire Sabz"(Chak Chak). In this part of the film, the audience is presented the various Zoroastrian traditions from baking "Sirog" to celebrating Gahambar, from group prayers to "Sedreh pooshi"(Navjote),  from Celebrations to"Gavahgiri" ceremony and amongst these the film also familiarizes the audience with the philosophy and history of "Chak Chak".

After the film which ended with a warm applause of the audience, Shabahram Demehri, Behrooz Bahmani, Sima Falamarzian, Mehraban Afsar Keshmiri and Fereidoun Bahramian Farshid joined the director in responding to audience question about the process of making the film.

At last, Dr. Esfandiar Ekhtiari and Mr. Keykhosro Mavandadi were invited to stage to award some of the people involved in the production of the documentary. Number of people who helped in the process of making the film is much more than the names announced, however a few people were more involved with the process.
