 Not too far away ,there is a building which its entrance panel expresses its 65 years oldness. Aplace which is reknowned to all Iranian Zoroastrians and these days by the endeavor of one of the wellknown characters of the community has been revived .
we are talking about “Zoroastrian Youth Organization”,a longstanding organization which is the cradle of Zoroastrian youths and juveniles.A gym specified to Zoroastrians which has won the championship of Yazd too.This organization has been the cone rider in Zoroastrian society throughout years.Many festivals have been held in here from the birth of Zaratushtra to Sadeh feast. “Yeganegi’s cup”the very beginning cup of Zoroastrians has been held in this place from1974.Now Sports and cultural events are getting into a new stagefrom the past two years onwards.By inauguration of the new built sports saloon. A saloon which has been built with the effort and benevolence of Rostam Yeganegi which is unique in Yazd.These days interested youths gather to draw the fact that Youth Organization can still be the best stage for both cultural and athletic youth’s potentialities to be displayed.
Equipment Today, Zoroastrian Youth Organization possesses one of the incomparable basketball and volleyball fields of the province and its bodybuilding equipment is of the rare ones.Besides the two fields ,the gym owns asphalt gridiron for playing soccer.for individual sports, the same,tools and equipment has been prepared forsports such as ping_pong,badminton,chess and dart.
Sports class Infants basketball,juveniles basketball,adults basketball,pioneers basketball,men volleyball,girl juveniles volleyball and women volleyball are the classes which are held in this institute.Further more some associations and Zoroastrian youths have chosen the saloon for their exercises.More over the soccer trainings for the juvenile players are kept on.
Plans and Activities Issuance of membership cards ,coordinating to take out insurance for all the members,planning for the jobs needed to be done:For instance contracting with associations and coaches,tiding and cleaning Yeganegi complex,planning for the Yeganegi cup and so on are a portion of the organization’s activities.It’s worth saying that the active youths of the organization have taken gradual steps towards getting a licence for their activities.
Parsian Magazine Parsian as a selection of cultural activities of the organization is published unremittingly and it has showed its insistence during the past 10 years through defeating the numerous troubles and has interested many readers and patriotics from all over the country.
