In the Name of God The Compassionate, the Merciful On the occasion of the 9th World Zoroastrian Congress, I convey my blessings to you who are the followers of Good Thoughts, Good Words and Good Deeds and have brilliantly depicted the sketches of your religious teachings. A research on history of different nations in vicissitudes of the relationships among humans, nations and civilizations and analysis of wars and peace reveals that no edifice can be deemed much stronger than religion, and the relationships among humans and nations would not sustain healthy bonds without attempts aimed to consider the roles of religion and faith. After recurring attempts of Human beings in living under the governance of different politico-philosophical theories especially the dominant creed in world affairs, human's tranquility and sense of perfectionism cannot be fulfilled unless people embark on spirituality. The Iranians since long ago have been acquainted with Liberty in choice and freedom of will and have practiced monotheism which are the major tenets of the teachings of Zarathushtra, the Prophet, and believers in different religious faiths have lived peacefully in this country, and have admired the essence of all religions which is belief in God and a morally-driven life. This experience is an invaluable asset for nations today to be emancipated from the narrow vision of worldliness and the modern belligerent attitude of ‘arrogance' of America in order to find the rightful path of life. I am grateful to my Dear Friend and Colleague, Dr. Esfandiar Ekhtiyari who is conveying my message of gratitude to you, and hope that the 9th World Zoroastrian congress will end in fruitful results for rehabilitation and improvement of nations of the world.
