10^th of Azar is marked as Parliament Day. Doctor Esfandiar Ekhtyari had two individual televised interviews with Press TV and Sahar channels.Interviews in which the old history of Anjouman and parliament in ancient Iran, Zoroastrians' role in Constitution(Mashrootiat) and Zoroastrian society's problems were mentioned.

Azar 9^th midnight, doctor Ekhtyari was Manshoor_e_Iran's guest.A live program which was being broadcast for English speaker audience.On this 45 minute program Doctor Ekhtyari answered variety of questions.

About the history of parliaments ,he refrenced to Moghan Anjouman which had been formed 3700 years ago by Ashoozartosht . He explained about Mahestan parliament in Ashkanian period which even had the power of selecting  kings. Then he stated about Constitution (Mashrootiat) and its supporting liberal thought.

"All Iranians had realized the necessity of forming a legislative establishment  at Mashrootiat time and that's why a guy like Master Jamshid Jamshidian helped the movement a lot to become victorious.On the other hand, Master Keykhosro Shahrokh who was the representative of Zoroastrians for several periods could do many great things .One of them was building Ferdowsi's monument."he added.***

Doctor Ekhtyari answered questions such as; If the parliament is the head of issues? How is the situation of goal setting of budget)( What is the difference between Muslim and nonMuslim representatives in the parliament?

"Every representative although is the representative of a part of the Iranian nation but they are the representative of people allover Iran.But something troublefor nonMuslim representatives is that they have to go to variety of cities whether for elections or looking after their clients'situations"he said.

When asked about  the structure of the parliament,its committees and commissions, Research and Technology  committee's head in the parliament  talked about the law of omitting the entrance exam of universities and bill of supporting education foundation companies which is under debate in Education and Research commission.***

At the end of his speech doctor Ekhtyari asked other representatives not to forget that they are the whole Iranians' representative and invited them to accompany the correction of the repeated article  881 of the civil law,an article which all the three powers'heads had declared their agreement on its correction.It must be said the repetition of this program was shown at Azar 10^th midnight.***

((Iran_e_Emrooz)) program which was shown at 12 on Azar10th from Press TVchannel,talked to some representatives. Zoroastrian Iranians'representative's speach was set at the beginning and end of the interview.

Here also doctor Ekhtyri talked about the history of the parliament,his chairmanship in the Research and Technology committee of the parliament and the importance of proficiency and record to representatives.
