A three member Zoroastrian Cyclist group consisting of Arash Chehelmard, Behruz Bavarsad & Ardeshir Nikdin took to a trip having both a religious as well as a sports motivation. This trip which took place in the summer month of Tir (1388) is one of the tedious journeys covered and that also for a 305 km distance. Pir-e-Banu a simple but a pearl like precious structure having its own kind of attraction has a priceless gift in its self for its lovers . The three brave sportsmen gathered at the Esfahan Agiyari for taking blessings from Mobedyar Behzad Nikdin who also accompanied them on this trip till their destination. Although there were ample difficulties in the hot summer weather but that ideal belief and utmost inner strength was the one powerful motivation for these youth to carry on with this purpose. The trip started at 4 in the morning of the14th of Tir month(Sunday) which ended in less than 20 hours. The cyclists took a few hours rest in Nain city and reached Pir-e-Banu at 11 in the Night where they were greeted with a very warm reception by the Zoroastrians present. Arash chehelmard told Berasad that the purpose of this trip was to show the importance & significance of the Zoroastrian holy places and that the Zoroastrian Esfahani youth are all the more involved with sports.
