Blessings to the Glorified Fravahar of the Aryan Prophet, Ashu Zarathushtra Spentemen, and Blessings to the everlasting Sacred Souls of all Iranian Martyrs.

Ladies and Gentlemen, respected fellow co-religionists and the participants in the 10th World Zoroastrian Congress, and the diligent and hardworking organizers of this World Congress.

First of all, I need to express the sincerest message of felicitations on behalf of all Iranian Zoroastrians, from the Homeland of the world Zoroastrians, A message replete with joy, love and affection. A message out of passion and enthusiasm. A message that contains the flagrance of Iran, the flagrance of the land of Pars, the birthplace of Ashu Zaratushthra, the first Messenger of monotheism. A country to whom the world over owe their culture and civilization. The vast, firm and beautiful land with it's towering Mount Damavand. The Land of brave men like Arash and plucky heroines like Gordafarid. The Land of affectionate and anthropocentric Iranians, who have sacrificed their lives for the steadfastness of their Ahura-blessed land, Iran. The Persians who built the Persepolis and raised Cyrus, the Great. The country of Zoroastrians of good thought, good words and good deeds, who revere their Grand Old Men and Women and are still staying on in the Motherland with their hearts and souls, showing fortitude for its development, and growth.

Yes, at a time when some are in search of finding their history, culture, and land, we, Zoroastrians, feel honored to possess an exemplary proud and historic cultural virtue in a country like Iran. We do not and will not have any other root or origin than Iran. Therefore, we have to disseminate this honor. As, contemporarily, the late and may-rest-in-peace benefactors, Manokji and Markar have taken this path, alluding that other routes are off, which can best be expressed as:

"May I be sacrificed in preventing any loss to Iran"

Other significant points that need to be emphasized with regards to the theme of this Congress ‘Zoroastrianism in the 21stCentury: Nurturing Growth and Affirming Identity' are that due to the particular conditions of Zoroastrians and their geographical spread around the globe, there is a need to recognize and implement specific strategies spear headed by the authorities of Zoroastrian organizations worldwide. Strategies, which are no more an ‘option', but a ‘must'.

Human resources, especially the community youth as our greatest assets, should form our main obligation to maintain and develop. Our youths as can be found in many parts of the globe, and are at the forefront of right or particularly wrong cultural influences. The first and foremost step in insuring our future generation against this vague and disorganized atmosphere will be their proper and propitious training for our religion and faith according to the principles that have been laid out by Ashu Zaratushthra Spentemen, since in today's world, it would be the invincible faith and belief, as the first principle, that enable us progress the following steps successfully with a proud and steadfast identity.

Another important strategy is to use the full capacities of the Zoroastrian community, all across the globe, in order to enhance the quality of life and boost the values among the Zoroastrians. To this end, communication will be the key to sustain. Any proper and systematic link among each and every of the Zoroastrians along with organizational communications among Zoroastrian organizations can yield effective results on this path. If we look at the history of this Congress, whose existential philosophy that was created 54 years ago and has been executed to date, this multi-dimensional dialogue can be perceived, which, indeed, should have been updated in a new way, so it could be even more efficacious.

Official meetings of the World Zoroastrian community, within certain specific periods and with the aim of finding executable solutions in line with this goal, is the most significant solution that must be heeded by all the people. Although, currently, there exists methods that haven't proven efficient and require optimization. The important point to be noted is that in any way these methods must be updated, and insistence on continuation of not updated methods, cannot be responsive to the current needs, and will not yield results different from what we have obtained so far.

To this end, the most important feature of Zoroastrians must be regarded. That is, we are a family, a family with good facilities and very intelligent, powerful, and creative members, so let's get to know each other more than ever and cooperate together to boost the quality of each other's life.

I end my speech with the sacred verse of Avesta and the anthem of "Hamazoor Bim (May we keep our unity). A wish which we all pursue.

"Hamazoor Bim, Hamazoor Hama Ashu Bim"

                                                May it be so, indeed.
